Get back on track to having clear vision in your life- look into the “I’s” of Aggressive Joy.

2.Intrigue

3.Ideas

4.Inspiration

5.Intent

If you need a jump start, or just a reboot, look into the five “I’s” that renew your spirit and vision. Remind yourself why each day is the best day of your life!

Give attention to the Interest that grab you. Forget about profit, schedules, and agendas for a moment. Let a sincere interest guide your thinking.

Strong Interest leads to Intrigue.

Intrigue is a mental message reading- “Something good about you is found in me!”

Intrigue is a reflection of your unique edge that wants to be placed in the world.

Nurture it with the most powerful function of your mind-

Ideas.

Let them flow.  

Ideas are the grace of God gone into the mind.

Let Ideas build your vision, you will experience the most prolific feeling know to the human essence-

Inspiration!

Inspiration is what we all desire. See it, grab it, and GO!

Use it like a wild fire to get your Ideas to grow.

While they grow into the flames of energy for life, direct them into the final “I” that matters most-

Intent.

It is your Intent that will cause you to join with a passion for your life.

Intent is the prayer that directs Inspiration.

Intent is where you find your higher purpose.

The five “I’s” are the formula for growing green grass on your side of the fence.

See through these “I‘s” and delight in a life of Aggressive Joy!

Once when I was teaching, a ten year old boy started laughing. He couldn’t and wouldn’t stop.

I started laughing and I couldn’t stop.

We would look at each other and laugh more- to the point of turning red and wiping away our tears.

I finally gained some sense of composure and asked,

“What in the world is so funny?”

He yelled through a warm beaming smile,

“You tell me. You’re the one laughing!”

It was a good ten minutes before we could do anything but feel good.

Remember that time that you couldn’t stop laughing?

I know- me too!

I laughed until I cried. I forgot all my concerns, schedules, challenges, and pet peeves. I even feel better just thinking about that kind of laughter.

What was it we were laughing about? I don’t remember but man that felt good!

Go ahead- LAUGH!

It sends tingles through the body, heals tension, and best of all- it is contagious!

It just feels great!

We all want it.

We can all have it.

You can do it right now.

Laughing and crying are two of the most important ways to keep your health in check. Especially, when one is because of the other.

We can do it on command and it feels great!

You never looked so good, felt so rich, and had more fun,

than when you allowed yourself a good, whole-hearted belly laugh!

Pop in the comedy DVD, play the game, act like a fool, cause someone else to laugh,

whatever it is use some of your day to let ‘er rip and loose control!

It is fun, cleansing, and legal.

In your routine of the onslaught of keeping a career, family, and good health,

do you allow yourself time and space to just laugh?

Do it now! Why not? You will feel better no matter what your state of mind is.

Do you do what you do today just because you did it yesterday?

If you are not inspired, trust that it won’t be long before you feel expired.

The good news is- you are not alone and solutions start here!  

No matter what your situation you can change the energy of today to create a better tomorrow!

Most often, when we are not inspired (like we once were), it is a sign of letting inspiration come to you, rather than going to it. Don’t wait for inspiration- create inspiration.

Many wait for inspiration to come like a train that may, or may not arrive. Get your mind moving and act on even the smallest idea. Then watch it grow.

Like a special entree, serve your ideas to the world around you. By serving even the smallest part of the world you give a part of yourself that will cause energy to go up. When we expect inspiration to serve us we will wait, and soon feel expired.

Get involved in your ideas. Don’t let them live only in the mind- put them in the world.

Jump in the water of inspiration and saturate yourself with excitement.

We become how we see our life. Plant inspiration in your day by respecting your ideas. 

Create the idea of a better tomorrow. Go toward what you want to become.

Fortunate for you, it is all in your control. You have complete control over your energy and inspirations.

Please-don’t wait.

Smile and seek your inspiration then serve it to all who cross its path.

In the words of Steven Pressfield,

“Don’t cheat us out of your contribution.

Give us what you’ve got!”

Enjoy the inspirations! Enjoy a better life!

In an ever demanding world of expectation,we sometimes overlook the power of letting our inner being settle into a totally relaxed state.

Purpose is often found in the quiet moments while our mind turns the ideas of our desire.

I’m not referring to the moments that take place everyday, after long hours of tension and exhaustion.

I am talking about the calm that washes over us when we take time to hear the water lap onto the shore; when we hear the wind turn to a breeze; when we are less “getting away” from tension and more getting closer to a focused calm.

What does it mean to you to be relaxed?

How do you get there?

Do you include the right setting, the right scenery, the right music?

Calmness can be exercised. Tension can be exorcised.

Anything we exercise becomes strengthened.

Work the muscles of calmness. Work the stillness into a moment and relearn how to be present.

Rejuvenate the enjoyable and most delicious experience you know- just being.

Take time to just watch the clouds roll by- for hours.

Take time to smell the rain, hear the birds, and feel the breeze.

Watch the moon go over. Watch the sun come up.

You have to have a blank slate to write the important thoughts. Clear your mind.

Put your self in a place of opportunity to enjoy the calmness of every thing you see, hear, smell, and feel.

It is where purpose is born.

A moment to yourself. The pleasant calmness of silence in a good conversation. The enjoyment of knowing you can just sit… and listen.

“You are born with a gift”.

Yeah, I know. You’ve heard this all your life. From Oprah, your mother, friends, and from the commencement speaker at your high school graduation, you have heard it to the point of a cliché that triggers boredom.

It is time to shape your mind and experience believing these wonderful statements.

Reception takes the form of many outside influences.

Include music as a form of reception.

Shape your mind by enjoying music that understands you.

Music is a part of the pursuit of purpose, just as reading is a part of the pursuit of education.

Read that which resonates with a higher understanding.

Listen to that which resonates with fueling purpose.

Give your purpose a pool to swim, a comfort to enjoy, and a place to land.

Listen to music and exercise your gift.

Listen to music and give your energy a place to land and grow.

Once you are on the road to passion, via interest and intrigue, take a serious think session and rewrite your language.

Imagine that every spoken word that you utter plays out in behavior. Imagine that the laws of the universe are such that you can’t control it. As the words leave your mouth it is already shaping the outcome. It will create your intent.

Imagine that everything you say is literal.

The things we say are most often exaggerations of the reality or passive comments that protect us from commitment.

START WITH “PROBABLY”

Get the word “probably” out of your life. You can live without it and it can live without you. Choose a more accurate way to express your stand on whatever follows that word.

IDENTIFY YOUR COP-OUT

Identify your protective cover that excludes you from commitment.

When I changed my own language (and continue to do so regularly), I saw how my relationships improved (students, teachers, friends, and family). I gained a different kind of unspoken respect. My words became an extension of my truth; what they could clearly understand and count on.

I was headed into a lesson the other day and a student was on his cell phone talking to a prospective date.

I heard him say (and I am not kidding), “I’ll probably see if I can maybe call you sometime later tonight or something.”

When he hung up I said to him, ”You aren’t going to call her. Why didn’t you just tell her that?”.

He said, “Yes, I am. I just told her I would.”

I laughed and said, “No you didn’t. You just made it clear that she would not hear from you.”

He was offended by my supposition and assured me that he had every intent on calling her, probably tonight.

The next day I saw him and asked, “Well, are you dating her””

He said, “Who?”

“The girl you were talking to yesterday”

“Oh, that’s right. Oh, I never connected with her”.

Remove “probably”, “maybe”, “I don’t know”, “could be”, and “I guess” from your vocabulary . You will soon understand how these responses have diluted your meaning. You will see how they serve as a protective shield for commitment to think.

To think and respond effectively.
